Trigger Recording
Trigger-Recording was introduced to speed up the assignment of Triggers to Buttons. It can be activated and deactivated via the context menu of a Button. The first incoming data from a random active device will be converted into a Trigger for this Button.
There are two different modes:
Trigger Recording |
The first incoming signal creates a Trigger which sets off the Button |
Record Trigger Press Release |
The first two signals are converted into Triggers for Execute Press and Execute Release. |
The method Record Trigger Press Release was developed for the mapping of Triggers out of hardware components like desks. If a MIDI-desk sends the command Note On, 1 127, when a key is pressed, and the command Note Off, 1 127, when the key is released, then two Triggers for the respective state of the Button would be created.
With a connected MIDI-desk two Triggers were created automatically. If the Type of the Button is set on TOGGLE it now simulates the behaviour of the desk.
