The Timer is a special Trigger. Controls are executed either on the basis of the system time (SINGLE) or following fixed intervals (TICK). If there are repeating intervals, the setting Repeat has to be set.

ATTENTION: Timers are the only Triggers that are only active in Show-Mode. Otherwise they could unwillingly disturb the program sequence. And all intervals only get started once the project has been set to Show-Mode.

An Interval-Timer (TICK) can also be used for executing specific functions during the automated start of a UNIVERSE-Project. For doing so, the project in the Show-Mode has to be loaded and the timer to be set on a unique interval.

The Scheduler is an extension of the Timer-Trigger. Each Button that has a Timer-Trigger of the Type SINGLE will be listed with its background colour in the Scheduler. There, the Timer can be deactivated for certain days, making it possible to follow an exact schedule for festival installations in museums or exhibitions, for example.
