Some devices can provide incoming data directly for Modifiers or as parameter transfer for Controls. For this, drag and drop them from the Active Device list onto the Stage. The following devices are supported at the moment:

TCP/UDP/Serial Connector

A static output at which incoming data can be distributed. These Connectors also have an input for receiving and sending modified data.

Watchout

This device does not have an input but a flexible amount of outputs. These outputs have to be created depending on the expected parameter type. You can choose from: Timecode of a task, its transport status and the value of an input. Once an output has been created, the expected data will be permanently retrieved from Watchout. If, for example, an invalid identifier is specified for a task, the error message object not found in list can be displayed in Watchout.

ATTENTION: Watchout is only able to give back a limited amount of timecodes from multiple tasks at the same time. If the system capacity is insufficient timecodes might only be transmitted very slowly or not at all.

The timecode of a specific task has to be exported as label and by status bar.

Pandoras Box

This device works like the Watchdog device. The available parameters are: Timecode, Remaining Clip Time, Time to next Cue, Playback as well as Values of Individual Parameters. Here again, data are not delivered from the Media Server but are retrieved cyclically. The number of parallel retrievable values is limited by the respective system capacity.
